A keyword is a term Makna watches for across Reddit. Typically these are your brand name and variations. When a Reddit post or comment contains your keyword, it becomes a mention in your feed. Keywords are combined with OR logic — a match on any keyword counts.

What is a mention?

A mention is any Reddit post or comment that contains one of your monitored keywords. Each mention shows the text, subreddit, author, vote count, sentiment classification, and a direct link to the original Reddit thread.
