makna.app is an informational website. It has no user accounts, sign-up forms, or newsletter, and it does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising tools. We do not sell or share personal data.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit a page, Vercel processes the technical data needed to deliver it: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested URL, the referring page, and your browser's user agent. This data appears in short-lived server logs used to operate the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Vercel may process this data outside the EU; such transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Fonts

All fonts are served from makna.app itself. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other font provider.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage.

Contacting us by email

If you email an @makna.app address, the message is forwarded by Cloudflare, Inc. to our inbox. We use your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you, and delete them once the conversation has ended unless we are legally required to keep them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your inquiry (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Links to other websites

Our articles link to Reddit and other external websites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.

Your rights
